Sonja Zausch

After completing qualifications as baker, dancer and eurythmist, and after years of work in dance and eurythmy, Sonja Zausch found her way into curative education and social therapy. Her journey to curative education and social therapy began in 2004 at the Kaspar Hauser Foundation in Berlin-Pankow as a member of the management team developing anthroposophically oriented educational programs for people with assistance needs (including social eurythmy), for employees of the foundation and for all citizens in the district with artistic courses and cultural programs.

This led to a cooperation to establish a vocational school for Waldorf education in Berlin, Emil Molt Academy. Here Sonja Zausch developed the curricula for anthroposophically oriented training in social assistance and curative education. From 2010–2019, she worked at Emil Molt Academy as a teacher for social-artistic processes, training supervisor, internship mentor, and in school leadership.

From 2016 to 2026, she worked in the Department of Education at the German Association “Anthropoi Bundesverband”. From 2019 to 2023, she served as deputy director of the project In Good Company – Living Inclusion ("In guter Gesellschaft – Inklusion leben").

As part of a master’s degree course at the Alanus Hochschule Alfter (2014), she has worked and published on group eurythmy in the field of adult education, including social therapy.

Since then, she has been particularly interested in non-verbal communication processes and organisational processes that take place in motion. She designs inclusive seminars, as well as for people with and without special needs, as a process facilitator for inclusive social developments from an anthroposophical perspective. This is based on Otto C. Scharmer’s “Theory U” and Ha Vinh Tho’s concept of “Gross National Happiness.”

She provides in-house training in organizations on the fundamentals of anthroposophy and, on a supraregional level, through the “Anthroposophical Foundations Year”. In addition, she has been a lecturer and evaluator in the Bachelor’s program in Social Work at Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences in Berlin since 2016.
