Invitation to Form the Circle for Esoteric Aspects of Professionalism of the Section for Inclusive Social Development

We, as the Section’s leadership team, are constantly seeking new forms of collaboration, including for the inner aspects of professional practice in the field of supportive education and inclusive social development. An essential part of this is the work with the class lessons, which form a common esoteric point of reference for all sections of the School of Spiritual Science, and their resonance with the directions for inner development arising from the Supportive Education Course and other inner impulses specific to the development of our field of work.

We would now like to bring together these various strands into a “Professional-Esoteric Circle” - a circle of people who are meeting on the basis of their commitment as members of the First Class of the School of Spiritual Science, who are active in supportive education and inclusive social development, and who want to cultivate the esoteric aspects of professionalism in our field and make this work available to the Section. This circle is not intended to be a structural or decision-making body of the Section, but rather to form an inner space from which impulses flow into the work through individual initiative.

An initial meeting for anyone interested will take place in an Open Space session during the upcoming autumn conference: on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.

Bart Vanmechelen will introduce the initiative, and our vision is to organize a retreat at the Goetheanum in late January 2028. We would like to hear the ideas of those present and form a small planning group (core group).

We invite anyone who is interested in this work and has a sincere commitment to engaging with this esoteric content. Membership in the First Class is not a prerequisite for this first meeting. We are happy to support those who would like to participate in the ongoing work but are not yet class members as they pursue membership.

If you are unable to attend on October 4, 2026, but are interested in participating, please feel free to contact us by email at bart.vanmechelen@goetheanum.ch.

We would be delighted if this new initiative resonates and if we can build a lasting collaboration that will bear fruit for our professional activities in other aspects of the Section's work as well.
