Activities to celebrate the 150th birthday of Ita Wegman
Call for action from the Medical Section
Dear colleagues worldwide,
February 22, 2026 will be a special day! It marks the 150th birthday of Ita Wegman, a person of great courage, strength and intuition who, alongside Rudolf Steiner, brought so many central aspects of our anthroposophic medical impulse into the world.
The Medical Section would like to invite you to offer a therapeutic event in your community in honor of Ita Wegman. We would like to support this and share the call within our network as well. We hope that you – perhaps with colleagues in your area – will provide a healing experience for others, especially those who might not otherwise have access to these kinds of treatments. And we encourage you to offer it as a free gift to others (without charge).
This could be a workshop on biography, hands-on treatments, whatever you can offer. This is a free choice, depending on your work, your inspiration, and your possibilities!
Please let us know what you are planning. The Medical Section will be gathering information about the activities that can take place on or around 22 February 2026, with an online survey.
