“HFHS” Is Now “HFS Dornach”: A New Look for the Swiss Training Institution
Congratulations to the “Höhere Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik Dornach,” or “HFS Dornach” for short, on the launch of its new website!
Previously known as “HFHS,” the HFS Dornach is currently the only training institution in Switzerland that offers training in social pedagogy based on anthroposophy.
As a higher vocational school offering federally recognized degrees, it evolved from the former Seminar for Curative Education at the Goetheanum and maintains close ties with the Section for Inclusive Social Development at the Goetheanum. In addition to its undergraduate programs, the HFS Dornach also offers a wide range of continuing education and professional development courses on current and practice-oriented topics.
The HFS Dornach is a key partner in the collaboration among vocational training institutions within the Section’s International Training Circle, and the Section leadership is represented on the school’s board. In addition, our Section’s office is located in House Laval, one of the two HFS Dornach teaching buildings, in the immediate vicinity of the Goetheanum. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for this close collaboration and wish the faculty all the best as they take the next steps in their development under this new structure!
