The interdisciplinary field of inclusive social development encompasses a wide range of disciplines and professional roles, some of which are defined very differently from country to country. Through the International Training Circle, professional training providers and initiatives associated with the Section collaborate on a global scale. The offerings include introductory courses and continuing education programs for professionals in various practical contexts, foundational training programs, undergraduate and graduate degree programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, as well as postgraduate further education and advanced study programs with different professional focuses.

Among the educational institutions and initiatives associated with the Section through active participation in the International Training Circle are those that have obtained formal recognition from the Section through the Training Circle's peer review process. They are permitted to display the Section’s logo on the certificates and diplomas they issue, with the addition “Recognized by the Section for Inclusive Social Development of the School of Spiritual Science (Goetheanum).”

Given the wide variety of educational programs represented in the network, recognition by the Section and inclusion in the list below do not imply that the qualifications are comparable or that they are recognized professionally or academically in a national or international context.
