The study by anthroposophical physician Wilhelm Uhlenhoff (1922–2012), The Children of the Curative Education Course, published over 20 years ago, is one of the indispensable standard works for a well-founded study of Rudolf Steiner's 1924 course on curative education, alongside the new German text edition of the course and the companion volume published in German in 2024.
Uhlenhoff describes the life stories of the children discussed in the course, both in the period before the course and their further development and biographies. This context makes many of the observations, comments and pedagogical-therapeutic references in the course comprehensible, so that Uhlenhoff's research has closed an essential gap in the understanding of the course.
After Uhlenhoff's study was translated into English in 2008, it is now available in Spanish for the first time. Thanks to the dedication of colleagues in the Section's network in Argentina, this new translation is now being published under the title ‘Caminos de Vida’ by Editorial Antroposófico in Buenos Aires.
A book presentation is planned for 12 November 2025 at 7 p.m. Argentine time at the Fundación Rafael in Buenos Aires and online.
